It’s that time of year again. Membership renewal will be the same this year as it was last year. All renewal applications including a copy of your AMA membership plus a check for dues are due on or before December 1, 2009 (this includes lifetime members). Completed applications must be mailed to the address listed on the bottom of the application blank. Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant for correction. If you don’t receive your membership card within three weeks you should call or email me to determine the status of your application.
On January 1, 2010, your 2009 membership is expired and you will not be allowed to fly. The newsletter will be emailed to all members listing an email address. A box has been provided on the application to indicate if you want the newsletter mailed in hardcopy form. Place an ‘X’ in the box and you will receive the newsletter by regular USPS mail.
Guest members – If your renewal is late (after December 31, 2009), you will be placed on the guest waiting list in the order that your applications are received until it is determined whether or not there will be enough guest openings. All guest members will be reviewed at a board meeting prior to December 31, 2009 for renewal status.
Associate members – The rules of the 3M Club of St. Paul require the spouse or a parent of the associate member to also be a member of the club. We have a membership category for this purpose if they do not want to fly. The classification is ‘Associate Sponsor’. This membership will have no annual dues and they will not receive a membership card or the newsletter. If they do want to fly, they will have to sign up for two categories and pay the dues accordingly. You should receive two applications with your newsletter. One for you to fill out and one for your ‘sponsor’ to fill out.
